Understanding what is happening in the civic space, at different levels (local, national and European) can propel citizens to take action in subjects that are close to their reality. In this sense, the CIVIC GREEN Citizen Lab platform contributes to reach the project objective of actively engaging European citizens in the monitoring of environmental policies and projects.

This online engagement platform aims to boost public participation and action on environmental issues. Designed as a citizen lobbying platform, besides e-learning, it incorporates:

1. A Community of Practice for citizens advancement in civic in environmental issues
2. A Civic Monitoring Tool to support citizens track, analyse and assess different levels of dimensions of public commitment to climate change issues.
3. The CIVIC GREEN Citizen Lab also includes the CIVIC GREEN Competence Framework and CIVIC GREEN promotional material.
